With the distribution of two /8 blocks to APNIC, the Number Resource Organization (NRO) announced today that less than ten percent of available IPv4 addresses remain unallocated.

The ipv6 adoption is not an option anymore but an obligation.

The Web uses spread, multiply, diversify, and are changing our lifestyle as our company practices. They upset our relationships with time, space and knowledge beyond generational boundaries to transform fundamentally human organizations.

This forum is designed as a day "window" of our project, we focused on the desired purpose: to highlight these uses means showing the potential of the models and tools we develop and identifying scientific and technical locks, some of which can be shared. It also amounts to perceive research issues for the future.

Slashdot gives us important statistics regarding ipV4 addressing.

There were more than 3.7 million IPv4 addresses. In January 2000, 1.6 Million (44%) were used, and 2 million remained usable. Ten years later, 2.985 million IP addresses (V4) are used. And (you have done the calculation NDT) 722 million that remain available ...
